How to disable logins for a Metaframe Server hosting multiple Published Applications

Issue:

You need to disable logins for a Metaframe Server that is hosting multiple Published Applications, but not forcibly remove users that are currently logged in.

 

Solution:

Perform the following steps to disable logins for a Metaframe Server, without forcing current users to log off.

 

1)      Open Presentation Server Console

2)      Expand Servers

3)      Right Click the appropriate server to display logins for

4)      Select Properties

5)      Select Metaframe Settings

6)      Uncheck Enable logons to this server

7)      Click OK
