How to grant access to the Organization Title field in ADUC

Issue:

You wish to grant read or write permissions to the Organization Tab Title field.

 

The Active Directory documentation for AD Schema attributes is a little deceiving concerning the “Title” field on the Organizational Tab in Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC).

 

The attribute labeled as “Title” in the Active Directory User Object Properties as shown in the following screen shot does not correspond to the Organization Tab “Title” field

 

Solution:

The correct user property name for the User object is “Job Title”

 

More Information:

The above User property “Job Title” is also the organizationalPerson “Title” property
