How to change ESX 3.x Service Console Memory

Information:

By default ESX is configured for 272MB allocated to the service console.  It’s generally considered a best practice to allocate 800MB to the service console.

 

To change the service console memory use the following procedure.

1)      Open the Virtual Infrastructure Client

2)      Attach to the ESX Host (or to Virtual Center)

3)      Click the Configuration Tab for the ESX Host

4)      Click Memory

5)      Click Properties

6)      Change Setting

7)      Click Ok
